Job Summary
The Plant HR is responsible for managing all aspects of HR within the manufacturing facility, ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations, manage employee relations, and oversee recruitment, training, employee engagement and development programs.
- Manage and implement HR policies, procedures, and programs that align with the company's goals and objectives.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, including wage and hour laws, safety regulations, and other employment-related laws.
- Manage employee relations, including addressing employee grievances, conflicts, and other workplace issues.
- Work with recruitment team on the selection activities, including onboarding candidates.
- Coordinate on the training and development programs to enhance employee skills and performance.Manage compensation and benefits programs, including salary structures, bonus programs, and employee advantages.
- Maintain accurate HR records, including personnel files, attendance records, and other HR-related documents.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Manage and mentor staff, including providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including safety and environmental policies.
- Oversee that welfare activities are conducted as per calendar within cost
- Oversee the canteen management & maintenance–
- Guide Plant Head in handling any blue-collar related disputes with the contractors
- Handle annual labor budgeting process in collaboration with factory management and the Corporate HR team.
- Manage internal facilities such as Canteen, Transport, security & housekeeping etc. as per cost vs budget, service levels on cost, service, quality.
- Plan and provide adequate health and safety measures in the factory premises.
- Monitor adherence to all statutory compliances at all the Plants, for blue collared employees and contract employees.
- Ensure all statutory compliances related to hiring of blue collared employees, disputes, social security, health, safety and working conditions
Desired Profile:
- MSW / MBA in HR, Business Administration, or related field. A master's degree in HR is a plus.At least 8-10 years of experience in HR, with a minimum of 3 years in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and regulations, including wage and hour laws, safety regulations, and other employment-related laws.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Proven ability to develop and implement HR strategies that align with organizational goals and objectives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience managing and mentoring HR staff.Proficient in HRIS and other HR software applications
