The company operates a fully integrated manufacturing facility in Dindigul District, Tamil Nadu , where it manufactures electric scooters and advanced Lithium Ferro Phosphate (LFP) batteries under the Made & Make in India initiative.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Assistant Manager – Finance to oversee day-to-day finance and accounting operations and support the organization's financial planning, reporting, compliance, and control functions.

The ideal candidate will have 5–10 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting, with strong practical knowledge of taxation, statutory compliance, financial reporting, audits, cash and payment management, and accounting operations.

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Palani, Tamil Nadu .

Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Accounting & Operations

- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
- Review and maintain general ledger entries, reconciliations, and supporting documentation .
- Monitor daily cash flow, bank transactions, collections, and payments.
- Ensure timely processing and verification of invoices, expenses, and payment requests.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.

Taxation & Statutory Compliance
- Handle and oversee GST, Income Tax, TDS,



and TCS compliance and filing.
- Ensure timely filing of statutory returns and necessary documentation.
- Coordinate with tax consultants and external professionals on taxation and compliance matters.
- Monitor changes in applicable tax regulations and ensure necessary compliance within the organization.
- Support statutory and regulatory audits.

Audit & Internal Controls
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audit processes.
- Prepare required schedules, reports, and supporting documents for audits.
- Identify discrepancies and support corrective actions.
- Strengthen internal financial controls and accounting processes.
- Assist in implementing process improvements to improve accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.

Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare periodic financial statements, MIS reports, and management reports .
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Perform cost control and variance analysis across manufacturing and sales operations.
- Analyze financial data and provide relevant insights to management.
- Monitor expenses against budgets and identify areas for cost optimization.

Manufacturing & Business Finance
- Support financial activities related to manufacturing operations and sales .
- Assist with inventory valuation and reconciliation .
- Support pricing-related financial analysis and decision-making.
- Assist in capital expenditure planning and monitoring .
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to understand operational requirements and their financial impact.
- Support financial analysis related to business expansion and operational decisions.

Import & Export Transactions




- Handle and monitor accounting aspects of import and export transactions .
- Ensure proper documentation and accounting treatment for international transactions.
- Coordinate with relevant internal teams and external parties for transaction-related requirements.

Requirements
- 5–10 years of relevant experience in Finance & Accounting.
- Strong knowledge of GST, Income Tax, TDS, and TCS .
- Hands-on experience in accounting operations, financial reporting, and statutory compliance.
- Experience in audit management and coordination .
- Good understanding of budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and variance analysis.
- Experience in cash flow and payment management.
- Knowledge of inventory valuation and financial processes related to manufacturing is preferred.
- Familiarity with import and export accounting processes will be an advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy under deadlines.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
