Role Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled and knowledgeable Assistant Manager – Finance & Accounting with strong expertise in Indirect Tax reporting and compliance.

- The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in indirect tax (GST/VAT) reporting, along with exposure to end-to-end month-end close, regulatory reporting, and US GAAP submissions.

- This role requires strong analytical capability, stakeholder management, and the ability to work in a quick-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage Indirect Tax reporting and compliance, including preparation, review, and submission of GST/VAT returns.
- Ensure accurate classification of transactions for tax purposes and perform detailed tax reconciliations.
- Monitor changes in indirect tax regulations and assess their impact on financial processes and reporting.
- Maintain proper documentation and support audits related to indirect tax compliance.
- Manage the month-end close process, ensuring accurate and timely completion of all financial activities.
- Perform accounting activities including journal entries, accruals, provisions, and reconciliations.




- Prepare and support US GAAP reporting, including reconciliations, adjustments, and supporting schedules.
- Ensure accurate preparation and submission of regulatory filings and compliance reports.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations, variance analysis, and financial reviews.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (FP&A;, Operations, Tax, Audit, etc.) to ensure smooth financial operations.
- Identify process gaps and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure strong internal controls, audit readiness, documentation, and compliance with policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications

- MBA (Finance) or professional qualification such as CA / CPA / ACCA / CMA.
- Strong and hands-on experience in Indirect Tax (GST/VAT) reporting and compliance (mandatory).
- Good understanding of accounting concepts and financial reporting frameworks.
- Experience in US GAAP reporting and regulatory reporting.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and financial systems (ERP experience preferred)
