Role & responsibilities

- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive EHS management systems and programs in accordance with national and international standards and regulations (e.g., Factories Act, Environment Protection Act, Hazardous Waste Management Rules, OHSAS 18001/ISO 45001, ISO 14001).
- Conduct regular risk assessments, hazard identification, and safety audits to identify potential risks and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable EHS legal requirements, permits, and licenses.
- Develop and deliver EHS training programs for employees at all levels to promote a solid safety culture.
- Investigate all incidents, accidents, near misses, and occupational illnesses,



determining root causes and implementing effective preventative measures.
- Manage hazardous waste, chemical handling, storage, and disposal in an environmentally responsible manner.
- Oversee the implementation of emergency preparedness and response plans, including fire safety and disaster management.
- Maintain accurate EHS records and prepare reports for management and regulatory bodies.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities, external auditors, and other stakeholders on EHS matters.
