Purpose of the Job

1. Plan and Execute Projects to Optimize the Head count in Assembly Line by introducing Automations through Robots & SPM, Cycle time reduction initiatives, Line Balancing
2. Development of Fixtures & Facilities for New Products as per the Targets and Metrics.

Job Specifications Designation / Title : Assistant Manager AME

Experience Range : 5-7 Years

Qualifications :DME or B.E Mechanical Engineering

Preferred Industry : Appliances / Automobile / Engineering / Electrical / Auto Ancillary / Plastics/ Sheet metal

Key Competencies required

- In-depth understanding of lean manufacturing principles.
- Hands on Experience in Automation Project initiation to Handing over.
- Hands-on experience Concept development & building small prototypes.
- Experience in Handling Multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency with analytical tools, workflow time studies, and process balancing
- Ability to collaborate with program managers, manufacturing leads and functional leads.
- Hands on Experience in developing a New Line with Fixtures and Tools for New Product.
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Roles and Responsibilities





- Identify the opportunities in the Assembly line to optimize the Head count & cycle time reduction as per the Target.
- Create CAPEX approval request with Concept development and ROI calculation.
- Periodically Conduct Yamazumi study and implement Lean Tools to reduce NVA and avoid waste in the process.
- Work as team along with Production, Maintenance, Quality and
- Supplier from Concept generation till Project completion.
- Update the SOP, Layout and related documents as per the Process modifications.
- Monitor the OEE and initiate the necessary actions for further improvements.
- Concept design of Fixtures and required facilities for the New Product.
- Define the Process flow, estimate the Cycle time, Head count and Manufacturing cost for the Product.
- Create SOP for the Product and Train the Operators for new processes.
- Accountable over New Product Production till smooth Handing over with Production team.

- Achieving the productivity by timely completion of projects while maintaining high-quality standards
- Optimizing production processes using Lean methodologies
- Industrialization of Current Product as per the timeline
