Job Title: Assistant General Manager - Architecture

Location: Head Office, Saket, Current Delhi

Reporting To: HOD - Architecture

Role Purpose

Lead architectural design management across projects by translating business and product requirements into compliant, buildable and cost-effective design solutions. The role will partner with internal teams and external consultants to ensure design quality, timely delivery and seamless execution from feasibility through project launch.

How you can make an impact ?

- Translate business and product requirements into clear design inputs and comprehensive briefs for external architects and consultants.
- Lead cross-functional design coordination and ensure timely, accurate flow of drawings,



decisions and information across business teams.
- Review sanctioned drawings and inputs from approval authorities, including Municipality, Environment Clearance (EC), RERA and Airport Authority, to verify compliance with statutory requirements and approval conditions before final submission or release.
- Conduct architectural feasibility studies for new land parcels in line with applicable local bye-laws, development regulations and Ashiana's internal design standards.
- Manage external consultants and design schedules to ensure the timely release of concept, working and GFC drawings to the Engineering and execution teams.
- Oversee the design and on-site execution of sales galleries, show apartments and other customer-facing spaces to support successful and timely project launches.
- Ensure that design solutions and specifications are aligned with project budgets, quality standards, customer requirements and constructability objectives; drive value engineering wherever appropriate.
- Resolve design queries, drawing discrepancies and site-related issues in coordination with consultants, Engineering, Projects and other stakeholders.
- Drive research, innovation and standardisation to improve products,



SOPs, drawings, detailing and design practices, and ensure that approved changes are communicated to all relevant teams.
- Lead, coach and develop the Architecture team by setting clear priorities, reviewing outputs and building a culture of ownership, collaboration and design excellence.

What are we looking for?
- A full-time bachelors degree in architecture (B.Arch.) from a recognised institution, with 11-15 years of relevant experience in architecture and design management; experience with a residential real-estate developer will be preferred.
- A minimum of 5-7 years of hands-on site visit and design coordination experience across multiple locations is mandatory.
- Strong experience in design development, consultant management, working/GFC drawings, design reviews and coordination with project execution teams.
- Sound understanding of local bye-laws, statutory approvals and compliance requirements, including RERA, Environment Clearance and Airport Authority norms, as applicable.
- A strong eye for quality and detailing, along with the ability to balance design intent, functionality, customer experience, budget and execution requirements.
- Proven ability to hire, coach and build teams, lead people with purpose, and manage senior internal and external stakeholders effectively.
- A customer-centric mindset with high ownership, learning agility, sound judgement and the ability to take timely action while consistently striving for excellence.
