Role Description The Assistant Dev Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in West Bengal, India. The role involves supporting the design, development, and improvement of electrical machinery and related software components, including assisting senior engineers in implementing new features and enhancements.

Day-to-day tasks include participating in research and development activities, writing and reviewing code, performing functional and performance testing, and troubleshooting technical issues in both hardware and software.

Engineer will document work clearly, collaborate with cross-functional teams such as production and quality, and help ensure that products meet technical specifications, safety standards, and customer requirements. The role also includes maintaining development environments,



providing feedback on prototypes, and contributing to process and productivity improvements within the engineering team.

Qualifications

- Ability to work effectively in Research and Development (R&D;), including supporting experiments, analyzing results, and contributing to product improvements.
- Proficiency in Software Development and Programming, with experience in at least one modern programming language relevant to engineering applications.
- Skills in Testing, including creating test cases, executing tests on hardware and software, and documenting and reporting defects accurately.
- Foundational knowledge of Electronics, such as circuits, components, and electrical safety, preferably with exposure to machinery or industrial systems.
- Relevant technical qualification, such as a diploma or bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, or a closely related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on quality and reliability.
- Ability to work on-site in a workshop or industrial environment, following safety procedures and collaborating with technicians and engineers.
- Valuable written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work cooperatively in diverse, cross-functional teams.
- Prior internship or project experience in electrical machinery, embedded systems, or industrial automation is an advantage.
