Position: Area Sales Manager
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Area Sales Manager to manage the assigned territory, lead the sales team, develop business opportunities, and achieve sales and revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and achieve assigned sales and revenue targets for the territory.
- Lead, guide, and monitor the Field Sales Executive team.
- Develop and implement territory-wise sales strategies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with doctors, hospitals, clinics, diagnostic centres, and healthcare professionals.
- Identify recent business opportunities and expand market coverage.
- Conduct regular market visits and monitor team performance.
- Track sales, collections, client acquisition, and territory performance.
- Monitor competitor activities and provide market feedback to management.
- Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews.
- Coordinate with internal teams for smooth service delivery.
- Prepare and submit regular sales and performance reports to management.
Eligibility Criteria
- Qualification:
Graduate in any discipline.
- Minimum Experience: 3+ years of experience.
- Mandatory: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience specifically in the Diagnostic / Pathology / Healthcare Sales field.
- Candidates with experience from other sales industries will not be preferred.
- Prior experience in team handling and territory management will be an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of the local diagnostic and healthcare market.
- Two-wheeler and valid driving licence are mandatory.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
