Position Overview Insight is seeking an experienced Network Security and Infrastructure Engineer/Architect to design, implement, and manage enterprise-grade network security and infrastructure solutions. This role focuses on Palo Alto firewall platforms, load balancing technologies, and core network infrastructure with expertise in routing, switching, and advanced network protocols. The ideal candidate will drive network modernization initiatives and deliver high-availability, secure solutions that support business-critical operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, deploy, and manage Palo Alto Networks firewall solutions (PAN-OS) for enterprise clients.
- Implement and optimize F5 LTM (Local Traffic Manager) and GTM (Global Traffic Manager) for load balancing and traffic management.
- Design and configure enterprise routing and switching infrastructure using Cisco technologies.
- Manage LAN/WAN network design, implementation, and optimization across multi-site environments.
- Configure and troubleshoot advanced network protocols including BGP,



OSPF, and EIGRP.
- Conduct network security assessments and create detailed technical specifications and design documents.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting of complex network and security issues across distributed environments.
- Support network security implementations including access control, segmentation, and threat mitigation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including systems engineers, security, and infrastructure teams.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, topologies, and runbooks.
- Stay current with emerging network and security technologies and industry best practices.
- Provide technical leadership during client engagements and solution design phases.

Required QualificationsExperience

- 7 years of hands-on experience in enterprise network engineering.
- 5 years of demonstrated expertise in Palo Alto Networks firewall administration and deployment.
- 5 years of experience with F5 LTM/GTM load balancing technologies.
- 5 years of hands-on experience with Cisco routing and switching infrastructure.
- 3 years of experience designing and implementing LAN/WAN networks.
- 3 years of hands-on experience with BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP routing protocols.
- Proven experience with network security architecture and implementation.
- Experience with network monitoring, analytics, and performance optimization tools.

Technical Skills

- Palo Alto Networks (PAN-OS, Panorama, threat prevention, security policies).
- F5 LTM/GTM (virtual servers, pools, iRules, traffic policies, failover).
- Cisco routing and switching (IOS-XE, IOS-XR, NX-OS).
- LAN/WAN design and implementation (MPLS, VPN, QoS).
- Network protocols: BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLAN, VPN,



QoS.
- Network security: firewalls, intrusion prevention, threat detection, DLP.
- Network automation and scripting (Python, Ansible, Terraform preferred).
- Cloud networking and hybrid infrastructure.
- Network monitoring tools (Splunk, Datadog, Palo Alto Cortex, F5 Analytics).
- Multi-vendor environments and interoperability.

Certifications (Preferred)

- Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE).
- Palo Alto Networks Certified Associate (PCSA).
- F5 Certified Technology Specialist (F5-CTS) - LTM or GTM.
- Cisco Certified Network Skilled (CCNP) - Enterprise or Routing & Switching.
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) - Routing & Switching or Enterprise.
- CompTIA Security or equivalent security certification.
