Role Opportunity The Team Leader (TL) plays a key leadership role in ensuring exceptional delivery within the India region through hands-on expertise and a commercially driven approach.

The role combines people leadership, project delivery oversight and customer relationship management, technical expertise and operational excellence to ensure successful outcomes across multiple engagements within the India region for customers and the wider India team The TL is fully accountable for delivering projects within the region portfolio, managing the complete end to end lifecycle for customer engagements, including through account management, Care and/or Manage Service.

This includes quality control, budget and scope tracking, handling change requests, maintaining strong communication, and overseeing governance, with the support of the Bedford Group Services Function.

The TL will be supported by PS and Group Leadership on all Key and Strategic projects; however, the TL will lead and manage the India consultant team, working alongside a People Operations Team to ensure team development and performance management.

The role will directly contribute to high-quality delivery, customer success, and Bedford’s reputation for excellence, as a strategic partner to our customers, helping them modernize planning, optimize processes, and realize the full power of the Anaplan platform.

What to Expect

Core Responsibilities

Leadership & People Management

- Lead by example as an ambassador of Bedford, consistently communicating and supporting key business messages.
- Line manage and develop a team of consultants, ensuring performance processes are followed, recognizing high performance, and addressing underperformance where necessary.
- Actively participate in the recruitment process for recent team members.
- Provide regular reporting on team performance

Project Ownership & Delivery
- Manage full project lifecycle from sales hand-off to project close for projects within the portfolio.
- Ensure both technical (model building) and non-technical (project management) aspects of delivery meet high-quality standards.
- Act as the main point of contact and escalation for all project issues within the allocated portfolio, ensuring regular project steering committee (steerco) meetings with customer Project Sponsors.
- Keep Bedford Leadership and Anaplan Customer Success informed of project statuses, particularly when resolving issues.

Governance & Commercial Oversight
- Oversee all project governance within the India portfolio, including Agile App tracking, status reporting, budget monitoring, and timesheet reviews.
- Manage commercial agreements with customers across allocated portfolio, handling budget tracking, scope management, and any required project extensions.
- Assist with project estimation, proposals, and statements of work (SOWs).
- Contribute to pre-sales activities, demonstrations, and discovery workshops.
- Support revenue targets, utilisation goals, and delivery KPIs.

Customer Relationship Management
- Build trusted relationships with customer stakeholders and executive sponsors.
- Participate in workshops, solution reviews,



and strategic planning sessions where appropriate.
- Provide guidance on Anaplan platform capabilities and business transformation opportunities.
- Support issue resolution and customer escalations where required.
- Identify opportunities for additional services or platform expansion

Accountabilities and KPIs

- Successful project delivery, ensuring high-quality execution and meeting customer expectations around budget, timeline and scope.
- Meets company utilisation targets, for the India team, taking pro-active steps to ensure that team is billable for the required time.
- Positive customer feedback, demonstrating a high standard of customer service and satisfaction, resulting in positive customer NPS scores.
- Team development and upskilling, fostering consultant growth and performance improvements.
- Improved offshore leverage.

Key Pre-requisites

- Experienced (12 months at Level 4) Anaplan Solutions Architect/Principal Solutions Architect.
- Strong people management and leadership skills.
- Highly organised with strong project management capabilities.
- Commercially minded, with experience in managing budgets and customer relationships.
- Excellent consultancy and technical skills.
- Strong customer service orientation, capable of handling challenging customers effectively.
- Takes ownership and is fully accountable for project outcomes.
