Role & responsibilities

Production Operations

- Assist in planning and executing daily production activities for Label Printing, Inspection, Finishing, and Dispatch.

- Ensure achievement of production targets, OEE, wastage control, and delivery schedules.

- Monitor machine utilization, downtime, changeover time, and productivity improvements.

- Coordinate with Planning, QA, Maintenance, SCM, and Dispatch teams for smooth operations.

- Ensure smooth operation of Flexo Label Printing / UV Flexo / Rotary Label Printing / Digital Label Printing processes.

- Cost & Waste Control

Quality Assurance

- Ensure adherence to customer specifications, SOPs, GMP, and quality standards.

- Monitor in-process quality checks and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

- Drive reduction in rejections, rework, and customer complaints.

- Maintain batch traceability and production records.

Maintenance Coordination

- Work closely with the Maintenance team for preventive and breakdown maintenance of printing and finishing machines.

- Analyse recurring machine issues and implement permanent technical solutions.

- Ensure availability of critical spares, cylinders, dies, and tooling.

Manpower & Shift Management

- Supervise operators, helpers, and shift supervisors.





- Ensure proper manpower deployment across production floor.

- Conduct skill development and technical training for machine operators.

- Maintain discipline, safety awareness, and 5S practices on the shop floor.

Safety & Compliance

- Ensure compliance with EHS, fire safety, statutory norms, and company safety procedures.

- Promote safe handling of inks, solvents, UV chemicals, and other consumables.

- Participate in safety audits and risk assessment activities

MIS & Reporting

- Daily Production Report

- Machine-wise output

- Downtime analysis

- OEE and productivity dashboards

- Wastage report

- Shift performance report

- Rejection and rework analysis

Preferred candidate profile

- Strong technical background in label printing operations

- Minimum 810 years of relevant experience in Label Security Printing industry

- At least 3 years in a production leadership role

- Hands-on, shop-floor-oriented skilled capable of resolving real-time production and quality issues

- Good analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and team management skills

- Open to work in Day/Night Shift
