Position: AGM – Commodity Procurement (3P)

Qualification: MBA / PGDM in Supply Chain, Procurement, Operations or Business Management

Experience: 15+ Years

Locations: Thrissur, Bangalore or Ahmedabad

Companies preferred: FMCG, Food Procurement & Sourcing and 3rd-Party / Contract Manufacturing

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Lead 3rd-party procurement and sourcing of FMCG food products such as Ghee, Honey, Frozen Foods, Bakery, Biscuits, Snacks, Staples, Ready-to-Eat Foods and other packaged food products .
2. Identify, evaluate and onboard reliable third-party manufacturers / co-packers for new and existing product categories.
3. Build and maintain a strong network of manufacturers based on quality, capacity, cost and compliance.
4.



Identify products with strong market demand and commercial potential .
5. Negotiate product cost, MOQ, payment terms, lead time and commercial terms with manufacturers.
6. Prepare detailed product costing, margin and profitability analysis.
7. Present business proposals to Management covering procurement cost, selling price, margins, contribution and company profitability .
8. Identify opportunities for cost optimisation and margin improvement through alternate suppliers and negotiations.
9. Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Quality, R&D;, Finance and Supply Chain for product development and commercialisation.
10. Coordinate product sampling, trials, quality approvals and commercial finalisation.
11. Monitor supplier performance on quality, cost and delivery.
12. Continuously identify new manufacturers and product opportunities to expand the FMCG food portfolio.
