Position Summary

Level: Consultant or equivalent

As an experienced Consultant at Deloitte Consulting, you will be responsible for individually delivering high quality work products within due timelines. Need-basis you will be mentoring and/or directing junior team members/liaising with onsite/offshore teams to understand the functional requirements.

Work you’ll do:

As a consultant, you will be expected to work as an individual contributor as well as support delivery of client engagements primarily aimed at providing innovative AI solutions for P&C; insurance carriers. As a doer, you will innovate, develop and modify actuarial tools, perform analyses and prepare reports for our clients. You will closely work with the Deloitte Senior Consultants and/or Managers to contribute to the success of such engagements.

At Deloitte, you will be a part of the Property and Casualty (P&C;) Actuarial team within the Consulting - Human Capital - Organization Transformation practice. Our actuarial consultants provide a wide range of P&C; Insurance Consulting and Audit services for our clients. We are enhancing our artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities within the P&C; actuarial practice to serve our clients’ analytics requirements to support business decisions and gain competitive advantage in the marketplace.

Qualifications

Must Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:

- 3 - 6 years of hands-on experience in P&C; insurance industry experience
- Predictive modelling or data science experience for pricing / underwriting / claims.
- Experience with MS Office, Python, R, and Machine Learning Operations.
- Experience with various modelling techniques including but not limited to the linear and non-linear modelling methodologies.
- Familiar with statistical methods and sampling exercises.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment with solid time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Good to Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:

- P&C; insurance industry experience in the US market.
- Pursuing actuarial or insurance exams from one of the globally recognized institutes.
- Experience with Cloud (GCP/AWS/Azure) and Gen AI.

Education:

- Graduation/Post Graduation with mathematics/statistics or any subject with sizeable mathematical content
