* BCom or a degree in the Finance & Accounting field

- 5+ years of experience in accounting and finance.
- Maritime industry experience preferred.
- Proven ability to manage multi-currency transactions and reporting.
- Must have working knowledge of cash flow management and working capital management
- Solid understanding of accounting standards and internal controls (ICFR).
- Hands-on experience in GST & TDS compliance, including payment and filing.
- Must have experience working on Tally.
- Excellent coordination and communication skills to interact with auditors, tax authorities, and internal teams.

Job Responsibilities

- Approve journal transactions in compliance covering both INR and foreign currency.
- Ensure timely GST payments and filings, including reconciliation and compliance tracking.
- Manage TDS payments and filings, ensuring accuracy and statutory adherence.
- Handle direct and indirect tax litigations, including preparation and submission of responses.




- Coordinate and facilitate tax audits and internal audits, ensuring readiness and compliance.
- Oversee finalization of accounts in accordance with applicable standards and policies.
- Liaise effectively with external and internal auditors, providing necessary information and documentation.
- Prepare and analyze MIS reports for management decision-making and financial review.
