: Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist

Job Summary:

The Accounts Payable Specialist will undertake a variety of financial and non-financial tasks to guarantee the proper disbursement of funds according to the organizations expenditure cycle. The ideal candidate will primarily work within the accounts payable department, entering invoices, disbursing funds, and maintaining a solid understanding of GAAP accounting practices.

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Expense Tracking: Maintain accurate records of all payments, expenditures, purchase orders, invoices, and statements.
- Reconciliation: Reconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to account balances.
- Records Management: Maintain historical records and ensure all financial documentation is organized and easily accessible.
- Vendor Management: Handle vendor payments by scheduling checks and ensuring payments are received for outstanding credit. Act as the primary point of contact for all vendor inquiries.
- Process Improvement:



Continuously identify and implement ways to improve the efficiency and accuracy of the payment process.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial transactions adhere to internal policies and GAAP standards.

Candidate Requirements:

- Experience: Freshers or Minimum 1 year of experience in Accounts Payable or a similar accounting role.
- Education: Bachelors degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, or Finance.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel and experience with accounting software (ERP).
- Shift Availability: Must be comfortable working in Night Shifts.
- Availability: Must be an immediate joiner
