Role & responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced Accountant to independently manage the complete accounting function for our distribution business. The ideal candidate will handle end-to-end accounts from regular entries to GST, TDS, bank reconciliation and finalization of books with minimal supervision.

Preferred candidate profile

- Handle day-to-day banking transactions, payments and receipts
- Perform bank reconciliation on a regular basis
- Manage petty cash and cash flow tracking
- Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9)
- Handle TDS deduction, payment, and quarterly return filing
- Ensure timely compliance with other statutory requirements (PF/ESI if applicable)
- Coordinate with auditors/CA for assessments and filings
- Manage accounts receivable and follow up on collections
- Manage accounts payable and vendor payment schedules
- Track outstanding dues and aging reports
- Maintain complete books of accounts in Tally/ERP or similar software
- Prepare monthly P&L;, balance sheet, and MIS reports
- Assist in finalization of accounts and year-end closing
- Support internal and statutory audits with required documentation
