Role Description The Accountant role at P S Design is a full-time, hybrid position based in Mumbai, with the flexibility to perform some responsibilities from home. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations, including bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, bank reconciliations, and expense tracking. The Accountant will assist with tax compliance, statutory filings, and coordination with external auditors and consultants.

This position also supports management with financial analysis, reporting on project costs and profitability, and implementing process improvements to maintain strong financial controls.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid accounting fundamentals, including knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping, general ledger management, and financial statement preparation.
- Candidates should possess skills in using accounting and ERP software, spreadsheet tools (such as Excel), and basic data analysis for reconciliations and financial reporting.




- Candidates should possess skills related to taxation and compliance, including understanding of GST, TDS, and other relevant Indian accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Candidates should possess organizational and administrative skills, including attention to detail, time management, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Candidates should possess strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with leadership, project teams, vendors, and external auditors.
- Relevant qualifications such as a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field are preferred; professional certifications (e.g., CA Inter, CMA, or equivalent) are an added advantage.
- Experience working in architecture, design, construction, or professional services firms, and familiarity with project-based accounting and cost tracking, will be beneficial.
