Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, and support financial reporting and statutory compliance. The ideal candidate should have 3-5 years of relevant experience, with experience in the FMCG industry being an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day accounting activities and maintain accurate books of accounts.
- Record sales, purchases, receipts, payments, expenses, and other financial transactions.
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, and other accounting documents.
- Perform regular bank and ledger reconciliations.
- Monitor outstanding receivables and payables.
- Prepare monthly and periodic financial reports.
- Assist with GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance and filings.
- Maintain proper documentation and financial records for audit purposes.
- Assist internal and external auditors by providing required information and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and applicable accounting standards.
- Coordinate with sales, purchase, operations, vendors, customers,



and other departments regarding accounting matters.
- Identify accounting discrepancies and resolve them in a timely manner.

Required Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelors degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in accounting is mandatory.
- Experience in the FMCG industry will be an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Good working knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software such as Tally Prime, Busy, or similar software.
- Experience in reconciliation, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
