Accountant

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Accountant to manage the day-to-day accounting, taxation, invoicing, and financial reporting requirements of our company. The candidate should be comfortable independently handling routine accounts and coordinating with management/CA for monthly and annual compliances.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping
- Maintain purchase, sales, expense, bank and journal entries
- Prepare and file GST Returns including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and related reconciliations
- Handle TDS calculations, deductions, payments and return filing
- Prepare and manage customer invoices / sales invoices
- Track accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Perform regular bank reconciliations
- Maintain accurate books of accounts in Tally
- Prepare monthly Profit & Loss Statements
- Prepare monthly MIS reports for management
- Maintain and analyse financial data using Microsoft Excel
- Assist in preparation and filing of Income Tax Returns (ITR)
- Assist with balance sheet finalisation and year-end accounting
- Coordinate with the company's CA / tax consultant / auditor whenever required
- Maintain proper accounting records, bills, vouchers and supporting documents




- Monitor outstanding payments and vendor/customer balances
- Ensure timely compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax and other statutory requirements

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Tally / Tally Prime
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Practical knowledge of GST and TDS
- Understanding of Income Tax and ITR filing
- Ability to prepare P&L;, MIS and basic financial reports
- Good understanding of accounting principles
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to independently manage routine accounting work
- Good organisational and follow-up skills

The accountant should be able to keep the company's accounts updated, identify discrepancies, ensure compliances are completed on time and provide management with a clear monthly picture of the company's profitability, expenses, receivables and payables.
