About The Role We are seeking a Freelance/Independent Contractor that is an experienced Accountant with a strong background in U.S.A. GAAP accounting principles and hands-on experience using Workday Financials and/or Odoo Financials.

The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to manage financial reporting, general ledger maintenance, and compliance activities in a fast-paced environment. This role offers the flexibility of remote work while contributing to the financial integrity and operational efficiency of our organization. The successful candidate will be instrumental in streamlining our accounting processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and supporting strategic financial initiatives.

Qualifications

- Experience in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with a solid understanding of financial principles.
- Minimum of 3+ years of accounting experience, demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of U.S.A.



GAAP.
- Proficiency in ERP systems such as Workday Financials and Odoo Financials.
- Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with robust organizational abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, deadline-driven environment.
- Experience in building, testing, and implementing new software features is preferred.

Responsibilities

- Create and maintain an accounting workflow map for ERP systems like Odoo Community and Workday, ensuring seamless integration and process efficiency.
- Develop a deep understanding of ERP systems, GAAP accounting principles, and workflow business maps to optimize financial operations.
- Prepare, review, and maintain accurate financial statements in accordance with U.S.A. GAAP standards.
- Manage daily accounting operations including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close activities.
- Utilize ERP software such as Workday for financial transactions, reporting, and process automation to enhance operational efficiency.
- Assist with internal and external audits by ensuring proper documentation and adherence to internal controls and compliance standards.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities to aid strategic decision-making.




- Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, HR, and Operations teams to ensure accurate and timely financial data flow.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to increase accuracy and efficiency.
- Build, test, and deploy new software features, contributing to system enhancements and operational scalability.
