We’re hiring: Accountant – Operations & Finance

Working days: Monday to Saturday

Agrevo is looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Accountant to manage the day-to-day accounting and financial administration of our Coimbatore operations.

Key responsibilities

- Record daily sales, purchases, receipts, payments and expenses.
- Prepare invoices, payment receipts and supporting documents.
- Maintain accurate customer and supplier ledgers.
- Reconcile cash, UPI and bank collections against delivered orders.
- Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations.
- Track supplier invoices, payments and outstanding balances.
- Reconcile purchase, sales and inventory records with the operations team.
- Maintain petty-cash records and expense vouchers.
- Assist with GST, TDS and other statutory documentation.
- Coordinate with Agrevo’s CA and provide the required accounting records.
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly accounting summaries.
- Organise invoices, vouchers, bank records and financial documents.
- Identify and report discrepancies involving payments, inventory or documentation.




- Support the development of reliable accounting processes and controls as the business grows.

Candidate requirements

- B.Com, M.Com or another relevant accounting qualification.
- Practical experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
- Working knowledge of Tally or similar accounting software.
- Valuable working knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets.
- Understanding of GST, TDS, invoicing and bank reconciliation.
- Experience in trading, distribution, wholesale, food, agriculture or warehouse operations is preferred.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with operations, sales, suppliers and external accountants.
- Proficiency in Tamil and working knowledge of English.
- Candidates based in or willing to work from Coimbatore are preferred.
