Job Responsibilities

- Maintain day-to-day accounting entries in Tally Prime.
- Record purchase, sales, receipts, payments, journal and expense entries.
- Prepare and verify sales and purchase invoices.
- Perform regular bank reconciliation and ledger reconciliation.
- Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable records.
- Follow up with customers for outstanding payments.
- Verify supplier invoices and coordinate for payment processing.
- Prepare and maintain GST-related records and assist in GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B filing.
- Handle TDS calculations, entries and related documentation.
- Reconcile GST input credit with purchase records/GSTR-2B.
- Maintain proper documentation for import/export transactions, where applicable.
- Record foreign currency transactions and assist with forex/foreign creditor reconciliation.
- Assist with preparation of monthly financial reports and outstanding statements.
- Coordinate with banks, auditors, customers, suppliers and internal departments.
- Maintain proper filing of invoices,



bank documents and accounting records.
- Ensure accounting entries and supporting documents are accurate and complete.
- Assist the senior accountant/management with other finance-related work as required.

Required Skills
- Good knowledge of Tally Prime and MS Excel.
- Good understanding of GST, TDS and basic accounting principles.
- Experience in bank and ledger reconciliation.
- Good numerical and analytical skills.
- Good communication and follow-up skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Experience in a trading/textile company will be an advantage.

Qualification B.Com / M.Com / equivalent accounting qualification preferred.

Preferred Experience

2–5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a trading, textile, import/export or manufacturing company.

Salary

Salary will be based on experience, skills and interview performance.

Joining

Candidates who can join immediately or within a short notice period will be preferred.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
