? About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic and target-oriented Academic Counsellor to join our Domestic Team.

The ideal candidate should have strong communication, counselling and sales skills, with the ability to understand a candidate’s requirements, recommend suitable academic programs and convert qualified leads into enrolments.

? Key Responsibilities

- Handle inbound and outbound leads through calls, Whats App and email.
- Counsel prospective students/candidates regarding suitable academic programs.
- Understand candidate requirements, career goals and eligibility.
- Explain program structure, university options, fees and admission processes.
- Maintain consistent and timely follow-ups with prospects.
- Manage leads and update all activities accurately in the CRM.
- Convert qualified prospects into successful enrolments.
- Maintain strong relationships with prospects throughout the counselling journey.
- Achieve monthly sales and revenue targets.
- Maintain proper follow-up discipline and lead pipeline.
- Coordinate with the academic/university team wherever required.
- Ensure a professional and positive candidate experience.

? What We’re Looking For




- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong persuasion, negotiation and objection-handling abilities.
- Sales-oriented and target-driven mindset.
- Good understanding of the education/Ed Tech industry is an advantage.
- Ability to handle multiple leads and maintain consistent follow-ups.
- Comfortable working with CRM, Whats App and email communication.
- Positive attitude, ownership and willingness to learn.
- Candidates with experience in education sales, Ed Tech, inside sales, admissions counselling or tele-sales will be preferred.
