Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Vadodara for an AC Technician, Service Engineer & Tech Support professional. The role involves installation, commissioning, and preventive maintenance of laboratory equipment and associated HVAC/AC systems at customer sites.

Responsibilities include diagnosing technical issues, performing repairs, and providing field service support to ensure minimal downtime and optimal equipment performance. The role also requires responding to customer service calls, documenting service activities, and coordinating with internal teams for spare parts, upgrades, and technical escalations.



The incumbent will provide technical support and training to customers, maintain safety and quality standards, and contribute to continuous improvement of service processes.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust skills in Troubleshooting, including diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and control-system issues on AC units and laboratory equipment.
- Candidates should possess Field Service experience, including on-site installation, commissioning, and customer-facing service activities.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for interacting with customers, documenting service reports, and coordinating with internal teams.
- Candidates should possess solid Technical Support capabilities, including remote support, basic training, and guidance on equipment operation and best practices.
- Candidates should possess Maintenance & Repair skills for AC and lab equipment, including preventive maintenance, calibration, and component replacement.
- Diploma or ITI in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Refrigeration, or a related technical field is preferred.
- Experience in laboratory equipment, HVAC systems, or pharma / healthcare environments will be an advantage.
- Ability to travel to customer sites, work safely with tools and test instruments, and follow SOPs and quality standards.
- Basic computer literacy for service reporting, documentation, and use of diagnostic software is beneficial.
