About Mindpex

Mindpex is an AI-powered B2B SaaS product being taken from MVP into real customer implementations and production .

We are now looking for a Forward-Deployed Engineering Intern who wants hands-on experience taking a real software product into production, integrating it with customer systems, solving real customer problems, and rapidly improving the product based on what happens in the field.

This is not a conventional internship where you receive isolated development tasks and wait for someone to tell you what to do.

You will work directly on the product, infrastructure, integrations, deployment, and customer implementation.

What You Will Do

Your core responsibility will be:

Take Mindpex, deploy it for real customers, make their systems work with ours, and keep improving the product until it works reliably for them.

You will work across

1. Cloud & Production Deployment

- Deploy Mindpex on Google Cloud / GCP , including Cloud Run.
- Work with Docker and production environments.
- Configure environments, secrets, authentication and services.
- Monitor deployments and troubleshoot production issues.
- Optimize deployments for reliability and cost.
- Make sure the product continues to work reliably after deployment.

2. Customer Integrations Customers will have different HRMS, SaaS tools, APIs and internal systems.

You will

- Understand how their systems work.
- Identify APIs, webhooks and available integration points.
- Work with connectors/integration platforms such as Nango, Kombo or equivalent tools where appropriate.
- Build custom integrations when required.
- Connect customer systems to Mindpex.
- Troubleshoot integration failures.

3. Data & Schema Mapping Different systems represent the same information differently.

For example

Customer: employee_code

Mindpex: employee_id

Your job is to make that data work correctly.

You will work on

- Schema mapping
- Data transformation
- Data normalization
- Data validation
- Missing fields
- Different formats
- Different field names
- Nested data
- Integration errors
- Data consistency

The goal is simple: Customer data must enter Mindpex in the structure Mindpex understands and can reliably process. 4. Rapid Product Iteration

This is an MVP.

Customers will tell us

"This isn't working.""We need this.""This data is wrong.""This workflow doesn't make sense."

You will investigate what is actually happening and help fix it.

Sometimes the change will be small.

Sometimes it may require a significant change to the product, backend, integration or data flow.

You need to be comfortable with that.

5. Customer Support & Technical Implementation

You will work closely with customers and the engineering team.

When a customer reports an issue, you should be able to:





Understand the problem → reproduce it → trace the system → identify the root cause → fix it or coordinate the fix → test it → deploy it → confirm it with the customer.

You are expected to stay with the problem until it is actually resolved.

NON-NEGOTIABLE REQUIREMENTS

Technical — NON-NEGOTIABLE

- Strong hands-on knowledge of Node.js .
- Strong hands-on knowledge of Python .
- Strong practical understanding of REST APIs, API integrations, webhooks, and authentication .
- Hands-on experience working with open-source/API connector platforms such as Nango, or equivalent integration/connector frameworks.
- Ability to build, configure, extend, and troubleshoot connectors when required.
- Strong understanding of data mapping, schema transformation, normalization, and validation between different systems.
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud / GCP , preferably production deployments using Cloud Run .
- Strong understanding of Docker and production cloud deployment .
- Ability to understand an unfamiliar codebase and trace data across external systems → connectors → APIs → backend → database .
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve production integration issues independently .

Working Style

- Full time commitment is required.
- Immediate joining is strongly preferred.
- You must be consistently available during agreed working hours.
- You must be punctual and disciplined.
- You must communicate clearly and proactively.
- If you commit to something, you are expected to follow through.
- If you are blocked, you are expected to communicate it early—not disappear.
- You must be comfortable taking ownership without being constantly supervised.
- You must be comfortable working directly with customers.
- You must be comfortable working in a rapidly changing MVP environment.
- You must be comfortable making quick iterations when customer feedback requires them.
- You must be willing to stay committed for the full six-month period.
