Job Description:

We are hiring an experienced SQL Developer to join a growing IT team in a reputed company located in Chennai. The ideal candidate must have strong hands-on experience with SQL programming, database query optimization, and writing complex stored procedures. The role involves working closely with the backend development team and supporting application data needs across departments. This is a full-time opportunity for someone passionate about databases and backend development.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions

Optimize and troubleshoot SQL queries for performance improvements

Maintain database integrity and security

Work closely with frontend/backend developers and business teams





Create reports and dashboards using SQL queries as needed

Manage and update large datasets efficiently

Perform regular database tuning and maintenance

Document SQL solutions and maintain version control

Required Skills:

Proficient in SQL (MS SQL Server / MySQL / PostgreSQL)

Solid understanding of relational database concepts

Experience with stored procedures, joins, indexing, and triggers

Familiarity with database performance tuning techniques

Ability to debug and troubleshoot data issues quickly

Knowledge of basic scripting and ETL process is a plus

Good communication and team collaboration skills

Qualification & Eligibility:

B.E / B.Tech / B.Sc / BCA / MCA or any equivalent degree in IT or Computer Science

Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience in SQL development

Willingness to work full-time from office in Chennai
