We are seeking an experienced and skilled IBMi Administrator to manage and support our IBMi systems. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in OS400 upgrades, software installations, and system maintenance, ensuring optimal performance and availability of our systems. Candidates with additional experience in programming (CL 400 or RPG 400) and DB2 400 database management will have an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage and administer IBMi (AS/400) systems, ensuring system availability, reliability, and security.
- Perform OS400 upgrades, patches, and enhancements as needed to maintain system efficiency and security.
- Install, configure, and maintain software applications on IBMi platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve system issues.
- Provide support for programming tasks involving CL 400 or RPG 400 if required.
- Manage and optimize DB2 400 databases,



including performance tuning and query optimization.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, upgrades, and processes.
- Monitor system performance and implement proactive measures to avoid downtime or disruptions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Proven experience in IBMi system administration and OS400 upgrades.
- Proficiency in software installation and system configuration on IBMi platforms.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as CL 400 or RPG 400 (preferred but not mandatory).
- Hands-on experience with DB2 400 database management.
- Robust problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
