Dream11 is looking for an experienced Engineering Manager - Backend to lead the design, development, and delivery of our software systems. If you have a robust background in backend development, a knack for managing technical teams, and expertise in cloud platforms, you'll drive the creation of scalable, high-quality solutions in an agile environment.

Your Role

- Lead the design, development, and delivery of software systems, spanning both frontend (UI/UX, client-side) and backend (APIs, microservices, infrastructure) using agile SDLC processes.
- Oversee code reviews, testing, deployment, and monitoring to ensure scalable, high-quality solutions.
- Troubleshoot issues from frontend rendering bugs to backend outages; conduct root cause analysis and draft incident reports.




- Partner with stakeholders to prioritize roadmaps, manage backlogs, and address technical debt.
- Estimate effort, set timelines, and communicate transparently about risks and delays.
- Hire, mentor, and grow top engineering talent to elevate operational excellence.

Qualifiers

- 7+ years of software engineering experience, with expertise in backend development.
- 1+ year of experience managing technical teams across frontend, backend, or full-stack domains.
- Working knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and deployment practices.
