Job Description – Safety OfficerPosition: Safety OfficerDepartment: Safety / ProjectsLocation: Project Sites – PAN IndiaExperience: 2–5 YearsEmployment Type: Full-TimeAbout the RoleWe are looking for a responsible and experienced Safety Officer to ensure compliance with safety standards and promote a safe working workplace at our project sites. Candidates with experience in work-at-height activities will be preferred.Key ResponsibilitiesImplement and monitor site safety policies, procedures, and standards.Conduct regular site safety inspections and risk assessments.Ensure proper use of PPE and safety equipment by all workers.Monitor and supervise work-at-height activities, scaffolding, ladders, lifelines, and fall-protection systems.Conduct Toolbox Talks, safety inductions, and training for employees and workers.Identify unsafe acts/conditions and take immediate corrective action.Prepare and maintain safety reports, inspection checklists, permits, and incident reports.Ensure compliance with applicable statutory and company safety requirements.Investigate accidents/incidents and recommend preventive measures.Coordinate with project teams, contractors,



and workers to maintain safety standards.Monitor work permits, especially for height, hot work, confined space, and other high-risk activities.Required Qualifications & SkillsDiploma/Degree in Safety / Industrial Safety / Civil Engineering or relevant qualification.2–5 years of relevant experience in construction, civil, structural repair, or industrial projects.Experience in work-at-height activities is preferred.Good knowledge of fall protection, scaffolding safety, PPE, risk assessment, and permit-to-work systems.Strong communication and site-management skills.Ability to identify hazards and take quick corrective action.Willingness to travel and work at project sites across India.Preferred Certifications- NEBOSH / IOSH / OSHA or equivalent safety certification.- Valid Work at Height / Scaffolding Safety training or certification will be an added advantage.Key CompetenciesSafety Awareness | Risk Assessment | Work-at-Height Safety | Site Inspection | Incident Reporting | Communication | Team Coordination | Problem Solving
