The Opportunity We are seeking a passionate journalist tojoin our APAC editorial team as a Cybersecurity Correspondent ,based in India. In this role, you will cover the most importantcybersecurity developments across the region, reporting on breakingnews, emerging threats, and major industry developments as theyhappen. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of theregional cybersecurity landscape, a strong professional network ofindustry thought leaders, and the editorial expertise needed toproduce high-impact multimedia content. What You'll Do Covercybersecurity developments across key APAC markets includingSingapore, India, Australia and ASEAN Track and report on regionalregulatory frameworks and policy developments Analyze emergingthreat landscapes and digital transformation initiatives impactingenterprises across APAC Identify region-specific trends that caninform global cybersecurity conversations Produce high-qualitycontent across multiple formats including articles, executiveinterviews, podcasts, webinars, video segments and event coverageConduct interviews with CISOs, CIOs, CTOs, regulators, policymakersand technology leaders across APAC Ensure content is timely,accurate,



relevant and aligned with ISMG’s global standards Provideeditorial support across sectors covered by ISMG when requiredRepresent ISMG in industry forums and executive discussions asneeded Work closely with the global editorial team to align APACcoverage with ISMG’s broader strategy What You Bring to the TableRequired Qualifications 2-3+ years’ of professional journalismexperience covering cybersecurity, information security orenterprise technology Strong news judgment and ability toprioritize multiple assignments under tight deadlines Ability towrite clearly, accurately, and quickly for a sophisticatedtechnical audience Familiarity with/basic understanding ofcybersecurity fundamentals (CVE, ransomware, threat actors, etc.)Ability to take direction and operate in a high-output newsroomenvironment AI-savvy mindset, open to and proactive about using AItools to streamline research, reporting, and editing—whilemaintaining strong editorial standards and accuracy Excellentcommunication skills and English fluency is a must PreferredQualifications Experience working in an international mediaorganization and/or multimedia journalism Demonstrated experienceinterviewing senior executives and industry leaders Establishednetwork of cybersecurity professionals in APAC Comfort withon-camera appearances and moderating executive discussions Why ThisRole Matters The volume of critical cybersecurity news continues togrow—and timely, accurate reporting is essential for theprofessionals who rely on ISMG.
