Role: Chief of Staff [Strategic Operations], DelhiExperience: 8+ years Salary: Upto 15-20 LPA Reporting to:CEO/Co-founder/Head of Organization Note: These are thenon-negotiable minimum requirements : Top-tier education (domestic/international), substantial global work exposure , and priorexperience in management roles in Non profit sector.________________________________________________ About the role:The Chief of Staff is a critical strategic partner to theCEO/organizational head, acting as a force multiplier across theorganization. This role demands a high level of agility,leadership, and operational excellence to ensure seamless executionof organizational priorities and effective collaboration acrossmultiple internal and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities:1. Strategic Planning and Executive Support Prioritization: Serveas the strategic thought partner to the CEO, helping to prioritizegoals, manage time allocation, and ensure focus on mission-criticalinitiatives. Operationalizing Strategy: Translate strategic visioninto clear, actionable, and measurable operational plans, trackingtheir progress across departments. Meeting Leadership: Manage andfacilitate effective executive and leadership team meetings,ensuring explicit agendas, documented action items, andfollow-through. 2. Cross-Functional Coordination and OrganizationalEffectiveness: Information Flow: Act as the central hub forinformation, ensuring alignment and clear communication between theleadership team, functional heads, and external partners. ProcessOptimization: Identify and drive improvements in organizationalstructures, policies, and processes to enhance efficiency andscalability. Special Projects: Lead and execute high-priority,cross-functional projects and initiatives that fall outside thepurview of existing teams, ensuring timely delivery. 3.
StakeholderManagement and Representation: External Relations: Support the CEOin managing key external relationships, including governmentpartners, donors, and collaborative organizations. Communication:Develop and manage high-quality communication materials (e.g.,reports, policy briefs, presentations) for the CEO, board, andexternal audiences. Events and Thought Leadership: Support theplanning and execution of key organizational events, conferences,and thought leadership initiatives. 4. Talent and Culture Support:Leadership Alignment: Work with the HR and Leadership teams toensure organizational culture, hiring, and talent managementpractices support the strategic vision. Team Development: Supportinternal development and capacity-building initiatives for theleadership team. Required Qualifications and Competencies:Experience: Significant experience (typically 8+ years) in ademanding role within consulting, project management, or a Chief ofStaff capacity, preferably within the development or educationsector. Education: Masters degree preferred in Management, PublicPolicy, Social Sciences, or a related field. Skills: ExceptionalCommunication: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills;ability to articulate complex ideas to diverse stakeholders(government, academia, donors). Project Management: Proven abilityto manage large-scale, complex projects simultaneously and deliverunder tight deadlines. Analytical Acumen: Familiarity with datadashboards, KPI tracking, and organizational performance metrics.Stakeholder Savvy: Proven track record of successfully navigatingand managing high-level government and donor relationships.
