Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership and Organizational Stewardship Provide overallleadership and direction across JRFs strategic, operational, andprogrammatic pillars. Develop and execute long-term strategic plansand annual operating goals that align with JRFs mission and values.Lead organizational transformation to strengthen systems, impactmeasurement, and operational efficiency. Program Development andImpact Management Oversee design,
implementation, and evaluation oflivelihood and social development initiatives. Strengthenmonitoring and evaluation frameworks to ensure measurable socialand economic outcomes. Build JRFs internal research and knowledgeecosystem to inform practice and influence rural developmentpolicy. Financial Sustainability and Resource Mobilization Lead anddiversify fundraising efforts across CSR, philanthropic, bilateral,and multilateral sources. Cultivate strategic partnerships andalliances with donors, corporations, and government entities.Ensure financial discipline, transparency, and sustainabilitythrough sound budgeting and reporting mechanisms. People andCulture Build and nurture a high-performing, values-driven teamrooted in empathy, trust, and accountability. Promote a culturethat integrates spiritual values with organizational performanceand social impact. Foster leadership development and continuouslearning across all levels of the organization. Representation andAdvocacy Serve as the chief ambassador of JRF, representing theorganization at state, national, and international platforms.Strengthen JRFs brand as a thought leader in inclusive business,artisanal empowerment, and community transformation. Buildcross-sector collaborations that enhance visibility and influencewithin the development ecosystem. Professional Experience andQualifications Education: Bachelor's degree required; master's inmanagement,
Social Sciences, Development Studies, or related fieldspreferred. Experience: 15+ years of leadership experience inreputed foundations, social enterprises, or developmentorganizations with demonstrated success in strategy, fundraising,and program management. Proven track record in scalingorganizations, managing large teams, and navigatingmulti-stakeholder ecosystems. Strong familiarity with rurallivelihoods, community mobilization, and inclusive value chainmodels. Experience with governance, organizational development, andboard relations preferred. Skills and Competencies Strategicvision, entrepreneurial mindset, and operational excellence. Strongfinancial management, partnership development, and communicationskills. Ability to lead with authenticity, empathy, and resultsorientation. Fluent in English and Hindi; knowledge of additionalIndian languages is an advantage.
