Job Summary

The Mother Teacher is responsible for providing a safe, nurturing, engaging, and child-friendly learning environment for young learners. The role involves supporting the overall academic, social, emotional, and physical development of students while maintaining effective communication with parents and the school management.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons and activities as per the prescribed curriculum.
- Create a warm, safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Take responsibility for the overall well-being and development of the assigned class of students.
- Monitor and support students' academic, social, emotional, and behavioural development.
- Maintain classroom discipline using positive and child-friendly approaches.
- Conduct engaging activities, including storytelling, rhymes, art and craft, games, and experiential learning.
- Maintain student records, portfolios, assessments, and progress reports.
- Identify students requiring additional academic or behavioural support and communicate concerns to the concerned Coordinator and parents.
- Ensure the safety and security of children at all times, including during arrival, dispersal, break time, and school activities.
- Communicate regularly and professionally with parents regarding student progress and concerns.
- Attend staff meetings, training programmes, workshops, and school events.




- Collaborate effectively with support teachers, subject teachers, coordinators, and other staff members.
- Maintain classroom resources, displays, and teaching-learning materials.
- Participate actively in school functions, celebrations, assemblies, field trips, and other co-curricular activities.
- Follow all school policies, procedures, safeguarding guidelines, and professional standards.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- B.ED/ Early Childhood Education or a relevant field.
- Prior experience in teaching young children will be preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Robust classroom management and organisational skills.
- Patience, empathy, creativity, and a genuine passion for working with children.
- Ability to create engaging and activity-based learning experiences.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with educational technology.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
