Salary: ₹12,000 per month onwards, negotiable/increasable based on skills, experience, and performance

Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled and responsible Automotive Electrician to join our Tata Motors workshop in Jammu. The candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and servicing the electrical and electronic systems of vehicles.

The ideal candidate should have relevant technical training or experience in automobile electrical systems and be familiar with modern vehicle electrical and electronic components.

Key Responsibilities

- Diagnose and repair vehicle electrical and electronic faults.
- Inspect, repair, and replace wiring, fuses, relays, switches, and connectors.
- Work on vehicle batteries, alternators, starters, lighting systems, and charging systems.
- Diagnose electrical issues using appropriate testing equipment and diagnostic tools.
- Handle installation and repair of electrical accessories where required.
- Identify faults in sensors, control units, and other electronic systems.
- Carry out electrical maintenance and preventive checks.
- Follow workshop safety procedures and manufacturer-recommended repair standards.
- Maintain proper records of repairs and parts used.




- Coordinate with mechanics and service advisors to resolve vehicle-related issues efficiently.
- Ensure quality workmanship and timely completion of assigned jobs.

Candidate Requirements

- ITI/technical qualification in Automobile, Auto Electrical, Electrical, or a related trade is preferred.
- Relevant experience as an automotive electrician will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of vehicle electrical and electronic systems.
- Ability to diagnose electrical faults accurately.
- Familiarity with modern diagnostic equipment is preferred.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as with a workshop team.
- Candidates with experience in a Tata Motors dealership/workshop or other reputed automobile workshops will be preferred.

Salary & Growth

Starting salary: ₹12,000/month.

Salary can be increased based on the candidate's technical skills, experience, qualifications, and performance. Experienced and highly skilled candidates may be offered a higher salary.
