Job Summary
Ravindra Heraeus Private Limited is looking for an experienced Senior Manager – Production & Operational Excellence to lead production operations, process improvement and operational excellence initiatives at our Udaipur facility.
The role requires a strong Chemical Engineering background with hands-on experience in chemical/process manufacturing, production management, process optimization, TPM, OpEx, maintenance coordination, quality and EHS.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and drive daily production operations to achieve production, quality, cost and delivery targets.
- Prepare and execute production plans and ensure effective utilization of manpower, equipment and resources.
- Identify production bottlenecks and implement root-cause-based corrective and preventive actions.
- Optimize process parameters to improve productivity, yield, quality and cost efficiency.
- Lead implementation of TPM, OpEx, 5S, TQM and Kaizen initiatives.
- Establish and monitor KPI/KMI/KAI and PQCDSM targets.
- Coordinate with Maintenance for preventive maintenance, breakdown analysis and equipment reliability.
- Ensure compliance with SOPs, Work Instructions, Quality Systems and EHS requirements.
- Participate in PFMEA, Control Plan, APQP and process improvement activities.
- Monitor and improve equipment performance, availability and process efficiency.
- Drive Daily Work Management (DWM) and regular performance reviews.
- Develop, train and coach production teams on TPM, OpEx, safety and continuous improvement.
- Support installation, erection, commissioning and optimization of process equipment.
- Drive continuous improvement projects with measurable productivity and cost-saving benefits.
Required Qualifications
- B.E./B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering.
- 15–20+ years of relevant experience in Chemical, Process or Manufacturing Industries.
- Strong experience in Production / Process Engineering.
- Proven experience in TPM, OpEx, Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement.
- Strong knowledge of process troubleshooting and equipment reliability.
- Good understanding of Quality and EHS systems.
- Strong leadership, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of SAP-PP will be an advantage.
