JOB DESCRIPTION – F&B; MANAGER

Job Purpose

To oversee and manage the overall Food & Beverage operations of Meridian Inn, ensuring excellent guest service, effective operations, revenue growth, cost control, and high standards of food quality, hygiene and safety.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the overall F&B; operations, including restaurants, banquets, room service and other F&B; outlets.
- Plan and achieve F&B; revenue and profitability targets.
- Ensure excellent guest service and maintain high hospitality standards.
- Lead, train, motivate and manage the F&B; team effectively.
- Prepare and monitor F&B; budgets, food costs, beverage costs and operational expenses.
- Control inventory, wastage, purchasing and stock levels.
- Coordinate with the Kitchen, Front Office, Sales & Marketing and Operations teams.
- Ensure proper food safety, hygiene, grooming and service standards.
- Handle guest feedback and resolve complaints professionally.
- Plan and execute F&B; promotions, events and special dining activities.
- Monitor menu performance, pricing and profitability.
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies,



statutory requirements and safety standards.
- Prepare and review daily, weekly and monthly F&B; reports.
- Monitor competitor activities and identify opportunities to improve F&B; business.
- Ensure smooth execution of banquets, conferences, events and group functions.

Qualifications

Degree / Diploma in Hotel Management or a relevant hospitality qualification preferred.
