Initial Territories: Satara / Sangli / Kolhapur, as assigned
Reporting To: Area Sales Manager (ASM)
Employment Type: Full-time, Field-based

Role Objective

To develop Supervital Agro's business at dealer and farmer level by regularly visiting agri-input retailers, generating orders, supporting dealer activation, conducting farmer meetings and product demonstrations, developing current leads, ensuring repeat sales and collecting market information.

The Sales Officer will act as the company's primary field representative in the assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities1. Dealer & Retailer Development

- Identify fertilizer, pesticide, seed and agri-input dealers in assigned areas.
- Visit existing and prospective dealers according to the approved route plan.
- Introduce Supervital Agro products and explain product benefits, pricing and schemes.
- Generate dealer enquiries and orders.
- Follow up prospective dealers until activation.
- Maintain regular contact with active dealers.
- Generate repeat orders and support secondary sales.
- Identify potential distributors and communicate leads to the ASM.
- Ensure appropriate product visibility at dealer outlets.

2. Farmer Development

- Visit farmers jointly with dealers where required.
- Identify progressive and influential farmers.
- Conduct village-level farmer meetings.
- Explain correct product usage and application.
- Identify suitable farms for demonstration plots.
- Follow up demonstration plots after application.
- Collect farmer feedback.
- Develop farmer testimonials and successful product-use cases.
- Refer technical questions to the Agronomist/Technical team where necessary.

3. Field Demonstrations

- Coordinate product demonstrations in selected crops.
- Maintain records of demonstration plots.
- Take photographs/videos at appropriate crop stages.
- Record farmer name, village, crop, acreage, product, application date and observations.
- Conduct follow-up visits.




- Support field days after successful demonstrations.

4. Sales Execution

- Achieve assigned monthly and seasonal sales targets.
- Generate primary and secondary sales.
- Follow up pending orders.
- Coordinate order details with ASM/office.
- Monitor dealer stock movement.
- Encourage repeat purchases rather than excessive initial stocking.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities across the company's product portfolio.

5. Collections

- Follow up dealer outstanding payments as instructed by the ASM.
- Ensure payments are collected according to approved credit terms.
- Report delayed payments immediately.
- Do not independently offer unauthorised credit, discounts or schemes.

6. Market Intelligence

Collect information regarding:

- Competitor products
- Retail prices
- Dealer margins
- Distributor schemes
- Farmer preferences
- Crop conditions
- New product launches
- Competitor demonstrations
- Local demand trends

Submit important market intelligence to the ASM.

7. Daily Reporting

Maintain daily records covering:

- Dealers visited
- Farmers visited
- New leads generated
- Orders generated
- Collections
- Samples issued
- Farmer meetings
- Demonstration plots
- Follow-ups
- Competitor activities

Daily reports should be submitted through the company's approved CRM/Google Sheet/WhatsApp reporting system.

Qualification

Preferred: B.Sc. Agriculture / Diploma in Agriculture / B.Sc. / relevant agricultural qualification.

Candidates without an agriculture degree may also be considered if they have strong agri-input field-sales experience and local dealer relationships.

Experience

Preferred: 1–3 years

Experience in any of the following will be preferred:

- Biofertilizers
- Biostimulants




- Fertilizers
- Micronutrients
- Organic agricultural inputs
- Crop protection
- Seeds
- Agricultural retail/distribution

Fresh B.Sc. Agriculture graduates with strong communication skills and willingness to work extensively in the field may also be considered for junior territories.

Candidate Requirements

Candidate should:

- Be comfortable travelling extensively.
- Know the assigned district/taluka.
- Communicate fluently in Marathi.
- Have basic Hindi/English communication ability.
- Understand local crops and agricultural seasons.
- Be comfortable approaching new dealers.
- Have basic smartphone and WhatsApp skills.
- Be able to maintain basic Excel/Google Sheet reports.
- Preferably own a two-wheeler.
- Hold a valid driving licence.

Suggested Fixed Salary: as mentioned

Initial 90-Day ExpectationsFirst 30 Days

- Complete product training.
- Understand assigned territory.
- Prepare dealer and retailer database.
- Map major villages, crops and markets.
- Start regular dealer visits.
- Understand major competitor products.
- Develop initial dealer pipeline.

Days 31–60

- Convert qualified dealer prospects.
- Generate initial orders.
- Conduct farmer meetings.
- Establish demonstration plots.
- Maintain systematic dealer follow-up.
- Start generating repeat enquiries.

Days 61–90

- Develop a base of active billing dealers.
- Generate repeat orders.
- Establish a regular market route.
- Develop progressive farmer references.
- Maintain demonstration plots.
- Achieve assigned sales and collection targets.
- Submit territory development recommendations to ASM.

This is a field-intensive position requiring regular travel throughout the assigned territory.

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹24,000.00 per month
