Job Summary

We are looking for a Manager – Finance & Accounts with strong experience in trade finance, accounting and working capital management, preferably from the Agri / Commodity Trading / FMCG / Trading / Import-Export sector.

The role will be responsible for managing finance and accounting activities across trade transactions, including procurement and sales accounting, trade finance, banking, working capital, reconciliations, taxation, MIS and statutory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Trade Finance & Banking

- Manage end-to-end finance activities related to domestic and international trade transactions.
- Handle Letters of Credit (LCs), Bank Guarantees, trade finance facilities and other banking instruments.
- Coordinate with banks for trade transactions, documentation, fund requirements and disbursements.
- Monitor working capital utilisation, cash flows and banking limits.
- Ensure timely settlement of trade-related payments and collections.

Trade Accounting

- Manage accounting for purchase, sales, inventory and trade transactions.
- Ensure accurate accounting of commodity/agri-input purchases and sales.
- Monitor trade receivables, payables and advances and ensure timely reconciliation.
- Perform bank, vendor, customer and inter-company reconciliations.
- Ensure appropriate accounting of freight, duties, commissions and other trade-related costs.

Import & Export Accounting

- Coordinate with internal teams, banks, logistics partners and other stakeholders for import/export documentation and accounting.
- Ensure accurate accounting of import costs, customs duties, freight and related expenses.




- Track foreign currency transactions and related accounting/reconciliation requirements.

MIS & Financial Reporting

- Prepare periodic trade, working capital, receivables, payables and cash-flow MIS.
- Track profitability and margins across products/trade transactions.
- Support monthly closing and preparation of financial statements.
- Provide management with analysis on working capital, inventory movement, outstanding exposure and trade profitability.

Taxation & Compliance

- Ensure timely GST, TDS and other applicable tax compliance.
- Coordinate with auditors and consultants for statutory, tax and internal audits.
- Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with accounting policies and statutory requirements.

Desired Skills

- Solid understanding of Trade Finance and Working Capital Management.
- Hands-on experience with banking facilities and trade documentation.
- Good understanding of inventory, receivables, payables and trade-cycle accounting.
- Exposure to import/export transactions will be an advantage.
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems.

Qualification

- MBA Finance or equivalent qualification.
- Ideal Candidate: Someone who understands the commercial side of trading, not just accounting—particularly a finance professional who has worked closely with procurement, sales, banks and trade/operations teams and understands how a transaction flows from purchase → financing → inventory → sale → collection → settlement.

Pay: ₹1,400,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
