Job Description
Key Responsibility Area
1. Workforce Planning & Crew Management
- Assign service jobs and site requirements to crew members based on skills, experience, availability and project requirements.
- Coordinate manpower planning, crew rosters, shifts, rotations, leave and on-duty schedules with Operations.
- Manage last-minute replacements,
absenteeism and emergency manpower requirements.
- Monitor workforce availability and deployment across sites and projects.
2. Employee Engagement & Employee Relations
- Act as the primary SPOC for field/service employees and build strong relationships with the workforce.
- Conduct regular 1:1s and pulse checks to understand employee concerns, engagement and retention risks.
- Handle grievances, suggestions, loan requests, policy clarifications, equipment/laptop requests and other employee requirements.
- Manage interpersonal conflicts, disciplinary matters and workforce escalations fairly, confidentially and within defined timelines.
3. Performance & Productivity Management
- Define and track KPIs/PRS for service personnel and monitor performance against site/project requirements.
- Collate site performance data and prepare inputs for PRDs and performance dialogues.
- Drive regular performance discussions, feedback and corrective actions.
- Review continual improvements and learning from site operations and translate them into performance improvements.
4. Talent, Capability & Career Development
- Conduct skill evaluations and identify technical and behavioural capability gaps.
- Develop individual training, career development and succession plans, particularly for future Team Leaders and critical technical roles.
- Manage annual training calendars, Friday Knowledge Sessions and downtime development opportunities.
- Support Talent Reviews, career planning and retention plans for high-performing and critical employees.
5. Service Operations & Process Management
- Drive Service Personnel Round-up Meetings and workforce coordination forums.
- Coordinate Workshop Management for customer assets under service and Neptunus equipment checks.
- Standardize crew-management processes through SOPs, trackers and dashboards.
- Partner with HR and Operations on employee lifecycle processes, attendance, disciplinary matters and workforce-related initiatives.
6. MIS, Compliance & Workforce Reporting
- Manage on-duty approvals, leave approvals, team attendance and manual attendance processes.
- Maintain workforce MIS, service manpower trackers and monthly project metrics.
- Update Project Master/MIS data and capture discounts, waivers and deviations with appropriate remarks.
- Provide regular reports to senior leadership on manpower availability, deployment, performance, engagement, attrition and workforce risks.
- Support compensation reviews and other workforce-related management reviews
