Role Description The Vice President of Financial Accounting is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai. This position is responsible for overseeing the preparation, review, and analysis of financial statements and reports for the firm and its investment entities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness.

Day-to-day responsibilities include managing accounting operations, supervising month-end and year-end close processes, and coordinating with internal teams and external auditors on financial reporting and regulatory requirements. The role also involves designing and improving financial controls, supporting investment and portfolio reporting,



and providing analytical insights to leadership for decision-making and strategic planning.

The Vice

President will mentor accounting team members, implement best practices, and contribute to continuous improvement of finance and reporting processes.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Accounting and Finance, with the ability to apply core principles to venture capital and investment structures.
- Proficiency in Financial Statements and Financial Reporting, including preparation, review, consolidation, and compliance with relevant standards.
- Advanced Analytical Skills for interpreting financial data, identifying trends, and supporting strategic recommendations.
- Experience with internal controls, audit coordination, and regulatory compliance in a financial services or investment environment.
- Qualified qualification such as CA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent; or a master’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing accounting or finance teams, with strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Comfort with financial systems, ERP tools, and Excel, including building reports and dashboards for senior management.
- Prior experience in private equity, venture capital, or investment management is highly beneficial; exposure to cross-border transactions is a plus.
