SAP FICO Consultant

Experience: 8–12 Years

Role: SAP FICO Consultant

Must-Have Skills

- Strong hands-on experience in SAP FICO (FI & CO) configuration, support, WRICEF, and end-to-end implementation.
- Strong expertise in SAP ECC and S/4HANA Finance core functionalities.
- Good experience in Financial Accounting (FI):
- General Ledger (GL)
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Asset Accounting (AA)

- Strong experience in Controlling (CO):

- Cost Center Accounting
- Profit Center Accounting
- Product Costing
- WIP
- COPA

- Experience in financial closing and reconciliation processes.
- Solid understanding of cross-module integration, particularly with MM, SD, and PP.
- Experience with Sales/SD processes, including rebates and accruals, and procurement-related integration.
- Strong experience in end-to-end business processes with deep functional understanding.
- Hands-on experience with WRICEF objects, Functional Specifications (FS), and requirement gathering.
- Strong requirement gathering, stakeholder management, and solution design skills.
- Ability to translate business requirements into effective SAP solutions and bridge functional-technical gaps.
- Strong analytical and reconciliation skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex financial issues.
- Excellent communication skills with experience in stakeholder coordination and clear documentation.
- Strong SAP ECC/legacy system experience with hands-on implementation and support exposure.

Good-to-Have Skills
- Experience with SAP Central Finance (CFIN).
- Knowledge of SAP Group Reporting and FSCM.




- Experience with SAP Fiori.
- Exposure to SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).
- Experience in global rollout and migration projects.
- Basic knowledge of ABAP debugging.
- Exposure to S/4HANA Finance transformation or migration projects.

Key Responsibilities
- Configure, implement, and support SAP FICO solutions across FI and CO modules.
- Analyze business requirements and design scalable SAP solutions.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and provide functional solutions.
- Support end-to-end financial processes, including closing, reconciliation, GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, and Controlling.
- Manage integration with MM, SD, and PP and resolve cross-module issues.
- Prepare functional specifications and coordinate with technical teams for WRICEF developments.
- Support testing, deployment, documentation, and post-go-live activities.
- Participate in implementation, rollout, migration, and enhancement projects.
