Manager Finance

About the Role

We are hiring a Manager Finance with strong ownership across Financial Operations, Controls, Technical Accounting, and Direct Taxation. The ideal candidate will independently manage core finance processes end-to-end, ensure accurate and compliant financial reporting, and work closely with cross-functional stakeholders, external auditors, and tax consultants.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Accounting

- Ensure proper accounting, including creation of provisions and accruals
- Prepare and analyse financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Manage general ledger accounts and ensure timely reconciliations
- Close books and prepare trial balance and financial statements for each period, month-end, and year-end close
- Prepare and upload financial statements to EPM for Group consolidation
- Coordinate audit closures and liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency

Direct Tax

- Prepare monthly, quarterly,



and annual tax liabilities
- Ensure accurate and timely payment of advance taxes
- Collaborate with external tax consultants on returns, accounting, and statutory compliance across countries
- Adhere to transfer pricing policy and maintain relevant documentation
- Support tax and financial audits at global and local levels

Risk & Controls

- Maintain the overall control framework of the organisation
- Work with Internal Controls and other stakeholders to ensure control procedures are in order

Developmental

- Drive process improvement with a focus on automation and digitisation
- Collaborate across teams for optimum results

Candidate Requirements

- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) Mandatory
- 710 years of post-qualification experience (excluding articleship)
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS), tax regulations, and control mechanisms
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle Financials, Tally, Zoho) and advanced Excel
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage stakeholders across functions
