Role Description This full-time Homecare Nurse role is an on-site position based in Bengaluru, providing professional nursing care in patients’ homes under established clinical guidelines. The nurse will conduct comprehensive patient assessments, administer medications and treatments, manage wound care, monitor vital signs, and document care accurately in line with organizational protocols. Daily responsibilities include coordinating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members,
educating patients and caregivers on treatment plans and preventive care, and supporting post-surgery, post-hospital discharge, and chronic care management.
The role also involves maintaining infection control standards, ensuring secure use of medical equipment at home, and responding promptly to changes in patient condition. The nurse is expected to deliver compassionate, culturally sensitive care while upholding Apollo’s quality and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Strong Nursing and Home Care skills, with experience in delivering clinical services in domiciliary or community settings.
- Solid foundation in Medicine and Patient Care, including assessment, monitoring, and management of diverse medical conditions.
- Practical expertise in Wound Care, including dressing, infection prevention, and post-surgical wound management.
- Valid nursing qualification (GNM, B.Sc Nursing or equivalent) and registration with the appropriate nursing council.
- Experience in acute care, chronic disease management, or geriatric care is highly beneficial.
- Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with patients, families, and healthcare teams, with strong documentation skills.
- Capacity to travel to patient homes within Bengaluru, manage time effectively, and work independently while following protocols.
- Commitment to patient safety, ethical practice, continuous learning, and adherence to infection control and quality standards.
