The Growth Operator – New Zones Intern role at Gharpayy is focused on launching, operating, and scaling new micro-markets. The intern will take ownership of building property supply, generating customer demand, converting leads into PG bookings, and improving the commercial performance of assigned zones.

Selected Intern's Day-to-day Responsibilities Include

- Market Expansion
- Identify high-potential micro-markets through research and on-ground validation.
- Analyze competitors, pricing, occupancy, customer demand, and growth opportunities.
- Develop an expansion plan for each assigned zone.
- Supply Acquisition
- Identify, approach, negotiate with, and onboard quality PG partners.
- Ensure every onboarded property meets Gharpayy's quality, pricing, and customer standards.
- Build sufficient property inventory to support customer demand.
- Demand Generation
- Generate qualified customer leads through online and offline channels.
- Execute local marketing initiatives to create a consistent lead flow.
- Build relationships with colleges, companies, hostels, and referral partners.
- PG Booking & Revenue Ownership
- Manage the complete customer journey from inquiry to successful move-in.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable properties.
- Schedule property visits, handle objections, and close PG bookings.
- Coordinate documentation, payments, confirmations, and successful move-ins.
- Work toward maximizing occupancy and revenue across assigned properties.
- Zone Performance Management
- Track bookings, occupancy, conversion rates, customer feedback, and revenue.




- Identify bottlenecks and implement improvements immediately.
- Ensure assigned zones consistently achieve business targets.
- Partner Success
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with PG partners.
- Resolve operational issues quickly.
- Improve partner satisfaction, occupancy, and repeat business.
- Process Excellence
- Create and improve SOPs that enable recent zones to scale efficiently.
- Document best practices and develop repeatable execution systems.
- Ensure CRM, reporting, and operational data remain accurate and up to date.
- Leadership & Execution
- Work directly with founders and leadership on strategic initiatives.
- Take ownership of projects from planning through execution.
- Support the onboarding and mentoring of future Growth Operators.
