About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Area Sales Manager to manage and expand our business operations across Assam & Meghalaya . The person will be responsible for achieving sales targets, developing dealer/distributor networks, managing key customers, and strengthening the company's presence in the assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities

- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the assigned territory.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with dealers, distributors, hospitals, healthcare institutions, and other key customers .
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across Assam & Meghalaya.
- Appoint, manage, and support channel partners to expand market reach.
- Conduct regular market visits and monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends.
- Generate leads, follow up on enquiries, and convert opportunities into sales.
- Coordinate with distributors and internal teams to ensure timely order execution and customer support.




- Ensure proper product presentations and demonstrations to customers whenever required.
- Maintain accurate records of sales, enquiries, customer visits, and market activities.
- Collect market feedback and communicate customer requirements to the management.
- Ensure timely collection of outstanding payments from customers/channel partners.
- Participate in exhibitions, conferences, product launches, and other promotional activities.
- Travel extensively within the assigned territory as required.

Candidate Profile
- Qualification: Graduate in any discipline; MBA/PGDM in Sales & Marketing will be an advantage.
- Experience: 5–7 years of experience in sales/business development , preferably in medical devices, healthcare, diagnostics, pharma, or a related industry.
- Strong knowledge of the Assam & Meghalaya market and established customer/channel relationships will be preferred.
- Good communication, negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Robust sales orientation with the ability to achieve targets independently.
- Willingness to travel extensively across the assigned territory.
- Proficiency in MS Office/Excel and basic sales reporting.
- Candidates with experience in handling distributors/dealers and institutional sales will be preferred.
