About the Role
We're looking for a Program Manager who will work closely with Aether's customers and take full ownership of their programs from our side. This isn't a role where you simply maintain a project tracker and follow up with teams. You'll be the person who understands what the customer needs, keeps the Aether team aligned, and makes sure commitments are actually delivered. You'll work closely with customers as well as our engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, quality and management teams.
What You Will Do
● Be the main point of contact for assigned customer programs.
● Understand customer requirements, priorities and timelines, and make sure these are clearly understood internally.
● Own the overall program schedule and make sure key milestones are met.
● Work closely with engineering, procurement, manufacturing, quality and logistics teams to keep the program moving.
● Follow up on open issues and, more importantly, drive them to closure.
● Identify potential delays or problems early and communicate them to the customer with a clear recovery plan.
● Lead regular customer meetings and internal program reviews.
● Prepare clear updates on program status, risks, actions and deliveries.
● Coordinate prototype builds, testing, qualification, production and shipments.
● Handle customer escalations and make sure the right people are involved internally.
● Track customer commitments closely so there are no last-minute surprises.




● Build strong working relationships with customers and understand their future requirements.
● Work with business and engineering teams on current opportunities and future programs.
What We Are Looking For
● 5–10 years of experience in program management, project management, customer management or a similar role.
● Engineering background preferred, especially experience in semiconductor equipment, electronics, automation, industrial equipment or manufacturing.
● Good understanding of engineering and manufacturing processes.
● Strong communication and customer-management skills.
● Comfortable working with international customers.
● Good at planning, follow-up and keeping multiple teams aligned.
● Someone who can work independently and take ownership rather than waiting for instructions.
● Ability to handle pressure when timelines are tight and priorities change.
More Importantly, Who Are You? We want someone who takes ownership. If a customer has a problem, your first thought should be “How do we solve this?” rather than “Whose responsibility is this?” You should be comfortable talking to customers, understanding the issue, getting the right people together internally and driving the problem until it is closed. You don't have to know everything technically. But you should be curious, willing to learn and capable of understanding technical discussions well enough to ask the right questions.
