About the Role:-

We are looking for a detail-oriented **Accounting Generalist** to join our finance team. This role is ideal for someone with 13 years of hands-on accounting experience who is comfortable managing a variety of day-to-day accounting functions, from bookkeeping and reconciliations to supporting month-end close and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:-

- Maintain and update the general ledger, including journal entries and account reconciliations

- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions

- Perform monthly bank reconciliations

- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities

- Prepare basic financial reports and schedules (P&L;, balance sheet support, cash flow inputs)

- Support statutory compliance work, including GST/TDS filings as applicable

- Coordinate with vendors, clients, and internal teams to resolve billing/payment discrepancies

- Assist in internal and external audits by providing documentation and reports





- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards (GAAP/Ind AS)

- Support budgeting and expense tracking processes

- Identify and suggest improvements to accounting processes

Requirements:-

- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field

- Relevant accounting experience

- Working knowledge of accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, Zoho Books, or similar)

- Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, basic formulas)

- Understanding of Indian accounting standards, GST, and TDS basics

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

- Good communication and organizational skills

- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Positive to Have:-

- Experience with ERP systems

- Exposure to statutory audits

- Pursuing or completed CA-Inter / CMA-Inter / M.Com
