## Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled **Arc Welder** responsible for welding, fabrication, repair, and maintenance work as per technical drawings, specifications, and safety standards. The candidate should have practical knowledge of arc welding equipment and be able to produce strong, clean, and accurate welds.

## Key Responsibilities

* Perform arc welding on various metal components and structures.

* Read and understand basic engineering drawings, welding symbols, and measurements.

* Select appropriate welding electrodes, current settings, and welding techniques.

* Prepare, align, and fit metal components before welding.

* Inspect welded joints for quality, strength, and proper finishing.

* Perform grinding, cutting, chipping, and finishing of welded components.

* Identify and rectify welding defects such as cracks, porosity, undercut, and improper joints.

* Maintain welding machines, tools, cables, and other equipment in good working condition.

* Follow production schedules and complete assigned work within the required timelines.

* Maintain proper housekeeping and workplace discipline.

* Strictly follow company safety procedures and use required PPE.

* Report equipment issues, material requirements,



and quality concerns to the supervisor.

## Required Skills & Qualifications

* ITI / vocational training in Welding or a related trade preferred.

* 1–3 years of experience in arc welding/fabrication preferred.

* Good knowledge of welding methods, electrodes, and welding equipment.

* Ability to work with MS and other commonly used metals.

* Basic knowledge of measurements and fabrication tools.

* Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.

* Ability to work independently as well as in a team.

* Physically fit and comfortable working in a manufacturing/workshop environment.

## Preferred Candidate

* Experience in **industrial fabrication, machinery, automobile, or diesel-engine-related manufacturing** will be an advantage.

* Candidates who can join immediately will be preferred.

## Working Conditions

* Workshop / manufacturing environment.

* May involve standing for long periods and handling metal components.

* Must be willing to work according to production requirements and shifts, if applicable.

## Safety Requirements

The employee must follow all welding and workplace safety procedures, including the proper use of welding helmet, gloves, safety shoes, protective clothing, and other required PPE.
