Electrician – Job Role / Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, switches, sockets, DBs, and electrical equipment.

Read and understand electrical drawings, layouts, and wiring diagrams.

Carry out electrical works for residential/commercial construction projects as per drawings and specifications.

Troubleshoot electrical faults and attend breakdowns promptly.

Install and maintain lighting systems, power points, cables, conduits, and distribution boards.

Ensure proper earthing and electrical safety measures at the site.

Coordinate with Site Engineers, supervisors, and other trades for electrical works.

Inspect completed electrical installations and rectify defects.

Maintain proper tools, equipment, and electrical materials at the work location.

Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and applicable electrical standards.

Maintain records of electrical work, material usage, and maintenance activities.

Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance of electrical systems.
