Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Tech Lead with 9-12 years of experience to join our energetic team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in back-end development using Java technologies with AWS. Exposure to treasury and capital markets will be considered a significant advantage.

Responsibilities

- Experienced Java Technology Leader with strong expertise in Core Java (Java 8/11/17), Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, and enterprise application development.
- Proven ability to lead end-to-end design, architecture, and development of scalable, high-performance applications aligned with business objectives.
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), design patterns, data structures, code quality standards, and development best practices.
- Hands-on experience with database technologies such as Oracle and PostgreSQL, including performance tuning, troubleshooting, and production support.




- Skilled in driving modern engineering practices, including CI/CD, DevOps, Agile methodologies, Git, Jenkins, and continuous delivery frameworks.
- Demonstrated leadership in mentoring development teams, conducting code reviews, managing technical risks, and ensuring timely project delivery.
- Effective stakeholder and client management skills with the ability to lead technical discussions, influence architectural decisions, and communicate with senior leadership.
- Exposure to Banking and Financial Services domains, including Financial Crime Surveillance Operations (FCSO), AML Transaction Monitoring, Trade Surveillance, Regulatory Reporting, and modern technologies such as React.js, Azure/AWS, Kafka, Docker, and Kubernetes.
